Fit Intuit's Mission
Holistic wellness is the cornerstone of a gymnast's life. As a veteran, former gymnast, physician's assistant, and mindfulness instructor, I bring a unique perspective to each athlete I empower. I am dedicated to creating a space where every gymnast's individual story of challenge and growth is honored.
I merge traditional and innovative wellness practices with my personal experiences as an elite and collegiate gymnast to tailor pathways that resonate with each unique life narrative. Here, we journey together through mindfulness, empowerment, and healing, fostering a community where every gymnast can thrive in harmony and authenticity.
My mission is to guide gymnasts and their support networks in building the mental toughness and holistic wellness necessary for success, not just during their careers, but as they transition into life after sport..
I am beside you on your path to peak performance and holistic wellness.
MY COACHES, MENTORS, AND GUIDES

GYMNASTICS COACHES DURING MY CAREER
I started gymnastics with Gillian Loiler, a wonderful coach at a small military facility in Germany, where my dad was stationed when I began gymnastics, at the young age of two and a half.

I then moved to Colorado Gymnastics Institute (CGI) in Aurora, CO and trained with Lindy Franzini and Steve Turley, both wonderful coaches and people.

I took a short break from high-level competition during my year with Richard "Tex" Womack.

My elite coaches were Tom and Lori Forster at Colorado Aerials in Colorado Springs, and Michelle Dusserre-Farrell, a 1984 Olympic silver medalist in gymnastics, also coached me leading up to the Olympic Trials in 1996.

My college coaches were Greg and Megan Marsden at the University of Utah.

Each taught me much about gymnastics and life, and I'm forever grateful for each stage of my gymnastics career and the impact each coach had on me, then and now.

MEDICAL TRAINING IN CONVENTIONAL AND FUNCTIONAL MEDICINE
I completed physician assistant (PA) school at the University of Utah in 2007.

I worked in pulmonology and orthopedics and then joined the US Army as a PA from 2009-2012. I then worked in psychiatry and primary care.

I completed Chris Kresser's ADAPT functional medicine practitioner training program and have completed all of the Institute for Functional Medicine's Advanced Practice Modules.

MEDITATION TEACHER TRAINING FROM JACK KORNFIELD AND TARA BRACH
The Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Training Program (MMTCP) offered through Sounds True has helped me become the most compassionate, authentic, and well-intentioned teacher possible.
Dr. Hanson’s books and teachings have offered an immense amount of guidance, wisdom, and clarity along my path. I am forever thankful to him for his kindness in providing invaluable feedback and support in the creation of my online course, Mindfulness in Sport.

Dr. Siegel has been a wealth of knowledge in teaching about how mindfulness and meditation change our brains in positive ways. His neuroscience background lets us all know that mindfulness and meditation can change our brains in ways that lead to healing, increased happiness, and peace of mind.

I have worked with Carrie for several years. Carrie has been instrumental in modeling this path of compassionate, empowered living. Carrie is my mentor, spiritual friend, and guide and continues to be a source of support and counsel.
